DescriptionA two-unit, direct-entry house with lateral chimney to parlour, dating to 1583.
The house, of gentry status, is of unusual plan, having a kitchen unit without an entrance from the main rooms; and a service unit, built on the north side, which is approachable only from the hall.
The date of 1583 is enscribed on a small piece of cast-iron, which possibly was originally part of a window hood.
