DescriptionThe Old Grammar School, Northop, built 1604, is single storeyed stone-built schoolhouse, measuring 16.3m N-S by 5.7m, with stone mullioned windows, on the east side of the churchyard.
It contains original wood roof trusses of various designs and wooden gallery.
The building was used as store, c.1962, and the roof restored, c.1976, it being intended to use the building as a library.
