Event and Historical Information:
The DALE was a wooden sailing vessel belonging to the port of Glasgow and under the command of master Thomas Dunlop. The DALE ran ashore at Penrhyn near Holyhead on 20 December 1824. The 18 crewmembers onboard were all saved.
