An earth and stone bank was seen in an area of thick bracken high up on the north-facing slope above Nant Tarthwynni. It was 2m wide at base and up to 0.5m high and ran at right angles to the slope. The bracken cover made a full analysis impossible when recorded in July 2008 but it is probably the boundary shown on modern Ordnance Survey maps but not on earlier editions, although the bank itself is not recent.
