DescriptionErbistock Mill is a 4-storey corn mill, on a site which is said to have been a mill site in Norman days. It is built of stone, with an upper portion of brick and a renovated slate roof. It stands on the west bank of the River Dee, imediately at the north end of a diagonal weir (NPRN 34409), so there is no separate leat. Inside on the ground flooran arched stone fireplace has inscriptions including the date 1602. In 1963, when the mill was Listed, the waterwheel and machinery were still in use.
