Site Record

A tucking mill was destroyed at Melin Gryddan before 1697 to make room for copper-works extensions. By the 1870s the name, now spelt 'Melin Crythan', had been adopted by nearby Chemical and tinplate works. The site is now part of a modern ndustrial estate.
