1. Old welsh longhouse. Arched porch with seats. Open fire, oak beams, stairs, door. Birthplace in 1563 of the Reformation martyr John Penry.
2. A longhouse, with rubble stone walls and a gabled slate roof, thought to be later sixteenth century. The house occupies the southern part of the range, framed by ridge stacks. Entrance to the hall is by a gabled, stone-built porch. The attics are lit by dormers. The lofted byre lies beyond the hall fireplace.
