A large quarry measuring 120m from east to west by 70m. It has a steep bank on the eastern side and some bedrock is exposed on the northern side. Much of the quarry is filled with spoil, with a gully at the southern end. There are more spoil tips further to the south (NPRN 260498 and 260504).
