Circa 1600 with 17th century wing. Uncoursed rubble masonry, standing slabs at eary corner. Massive end chimneys, orig. roof principals. Int. beams etc.

2. " The fireplace above the main ground floor has the hearth at first floor level. The oak bressemer beam has a natural camber but with a straight moulding over the opening accentuating the "swept head" of the bressemer... The first floor fireplace in the opposite gable is similar...but the hesarth is set approximately 3000mm above first floor level...
