Description
1. Large estate with many features (some unusual) adjoining River Nevern east of Newport. Site of some possible antiquity Pond/lake called "The Bridewell" and monastic grange site at Berry hill on opposite side of river.

2. This garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Pembrokeshire V, sheet 12 (1907). Its main elements on that map include woodland, walk, weir, river, terrace, quadrangular enclosure, parterres, pond, parkland, orchard, m, greenhouse, covert, isolated geometric copses, conservatory, carriage drive, bridge, walled garden and lodge.
