Description
1. This garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Monmouthshire VI, sheet 12 (1901). Its main elements on that map include carriage drive, woodland, possible walled garden, terrace, orchard, greenhouses, isolated geometric and copses.

2. There is an icehouse within the grounds but the exact location of the icehouse is unknown. It was discovered when a new sewerage system was laid through the garden c.1975, and has since been covered again. The icehouse consists of a brick dome, c.2m high and a floor diameter of c.2m.
