1. This site takes the form of two adjacent squares, as depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition 25-inch maps. The Right hand square may be an abandoned formal garden. This is intimated by the presence of features at its NE and SE corners which disappear by the bime of the second edition in 1906. The more westerly square enclosure incorporates a farm, a farmyard with threshing floor, a N-S running with a cruciform path kitchen system.
