DescriptionAn enclosure created by building drystone walls around the interior of the former upper pond (nprn 91628) at Garnddyrys Ironworks (nprn 34137). The enclosure is later than c1861 when the forge was abandoned. Drystone rubble walls survive to 1.2m high and are partly lined with hawthorns. In the S wall is a boarded door in an orginal opening and against the wall is a collapsed corrugated-iron shed.
