Site Description A Second World War Seagull Trench is set into the north-facing lower ramparts of Dinas Dinlle hillfort (nprn 95309), overlooking Llandwrog Airfield (nprn 309961) some 2km to the north. The trench is about 21m long, of brick construction and capped with a reinforced concrete roof 300mm thick. In plan the trench resembles an elongated 'W'. A stone-faced pill box (nprn 270423) lies some 50m to the north west.
According to the Defence of Britain Project, Record Number 11362, to the south west is an apparent observation post, completely hidden in the hill except for the viewing aperture.
