DescriptionHafod Eidos consists of a large rectangular shaped earth platform, located on an aera of relatively flat ground at the foot of a much steeper slope. Measuring approximately 56m in length and 9m in width, the outer perimeter of the platform is defined by large earth and rubble banks which stand to a height of at least 1m and are 1-2m wide. A later stone sheepfold has been constructed on part of the platform, at its northern end, but it is clear that this is a later addition and that the underlying platform itself is much larger.
