Description

Part of Caerleon Legionary fortress (Nprn95647).

Excavation, 1983-5, examined part of what is generally considered to have been a Tribune, or Prefect's house within the fortress of Legio II Augusta, occupied from 74-5 to about 200AD, constructed initially of timber, later of masonry, incorporating a small bath-suite.
