DescriptionA long hut, on a platform within the banked enclosure NPRN 272494. The long hut measured 10.5m northwest-southeast by 4.7m externally and was defined by grass covered, spread banks, up to 0.30m high. Some stone was visible in the banks.
The platform, cut into the southeast facing slope, was 27.5m northwest-southeast by 19.5m overall, the level area within it being 17.5m by 8m. The fan at the northeast end was cut into the slope to a depth of 1.5m and continuing around the sides for most of the length of the platform. A hood, or bank, ran around the top of the fan. The apron was 1.3m high.
