Description
Soflan, Bro Garmon, is a late 16th or early 17th century sub-medieval, storeyed, cross-passage and end-chimney house. It has pitched slate roofs and end chimneys with original weathercoursing. There is an off-centre entrance to the left with a cyclopean Tudor-arched lintel and flanking modern tripartite cross-windows to the original openings. There are two 2-light modern casement windows to the first floor with lintels as before. There is a 19th century single-storey gabled range adjoining to the rear. It has both original post-and-panel partitions surviving. The stone doorway on the south has one large curved slab above the door.
