Description
Sheepfold alongside the Clochnant stream. Consists of a series of stone walled and fenced pens. Concrete floor in one section suggests it was a draining pen for sheep dipping/washing. Corrugated iron shed on stream bank. Stream splits and one part flows through the folds. There are hints of some earlier structures on the site suggested by stony irregularities, but if so stone was taken to build the surviving fold and no real trace remains. Overall dimensions 40m by 15m.
