Description
Mining complex on Craig Y Bwlch consisting of mine shaft (SN71626970), associated spoil tip (SN71656973). Nearby evidence of peat extraction at NGR SN71606973. A linear field boundry runs from west to east, starting behind the spoil tip. Visible on AP.

Known to have been at work between 1861-1873, with earlier working hinted at.
Surface remains are of a level entrance set at the head of a dry-stone wall revetted gulley, with attendant tip, together with three shaft mouths, also with tips, one of which was connected by a flat-rod run to an engine platform with a boiler-ash tip.
