Description
Penlan Fach Lead mine occupies high ground. The site has one spoil tip and numerous mine shafts. It is thought to have been working in 1785, re-opened 1877-85, and with a more recent, but unspecified period of working also recorded.

There are significant surface remains of a wheelpit, fed by a leat from the north, and engine shaft, together with an associated tip. There are further levels and tips to the west.
