Description
1. According to the sales partics of 1983 (NMR)
Voelas is sheltered and screened by Beautiful landscaped gardens which have been matured over the years with a variety of ornamental trees including Copper Beech, Chestnut and Scots Pine. There are rock outcrops planted with azaleas and heathers with banks of mature rhododendron. To the west is the lawn and rose garden with sort fruit garden beyond. Paths lead down to a large natural pool planted with lilies, surrounded by banks of rhododendron. There is a hard tennis court and the garden is bounded bon the south and east by the River Melindwr, a tributory of the Dovey. There is Sea Trout fishing in the river. Amongst the rockeries in the grounds there is a controlled stream from a mill pond which feeds the ornamental pool in the grounds via two waterfalls and thence into the river.

In further sales partics of 1987 and 2000 it becomes clear that a greenhouse 50 ft long by 12 ft wide has been built with a central concrete path , automatic ventilation control and electric propogation benches.
