Description
NAR SH57SE35

An erect monolith or pillar stone set on the crest of a gentle rise.
The stone is 1.65m high, 0.55m wide and 0.45m thick. It leans some 15 degrees east from the vertical.
Stones such as this are generally identified as prehistoric ritual or funerary monuments, often Bronze Age. This example is, however, relatively small and may be a comparatively recent cattle rubbing stone. It is not depicted as an antiquity on early editions of the OS County series (Anglesey XIX.7 1889-1914).
