An uncertain earthwork promontory enclosure, set within a field known as 'Y Gaer' & set over 'Gaer Wood': a north-east facing bank, or degraded rampart of uncertain antiquity, cuts off the generally level summit of a steep-sided promontory, about 115m north-east to south-west by 50m, tapering to the south-west.
