DescriptionA promontory defined by steep natural slopes is cut off by a stone and earth wall and ditch, producing a rather oval enclosed area, c.72m N-S by 42m: the entrance is thought to have been on the E side, approached up the steep natural slopes, leaving the W-facing rampart blind: the interior is subdivided by rough stone walling.
