Currently isolated lengths of earthwork indicate an possibly D-shaped, ditched & ramparted enclosure, at least 70m E-W by 45m, a section provided by a pipe trench indicates that the enclosure extended further to the S, possibly with an entrance on the S side. Pre-rampart activitity was indicated (DAT 1979).
