DescriptionA ring cairn is located on Rhossili Down on gently sloping ground overlooked from the immediate west and from the north.
It is defined by a spread, stony bank averaging 1.8m wide and no more than 0.2m high forming a ring 9m in external diameter surrounding a slightly dished stone-free interior. There is no obvious break in the bank. Stones protrude through the bank surface and include two small boulders on opposing north and south sides of the ring. Although the ring is slight of construction the boulders give it some visibility at distance.
The site is surrounded by several round cairns as well as, to the north, Sweyne's Howes chambered tombs (NPRNs 93012-3).
