Remains of structures on a levelled up platform, c.53m by 20m, on a S facing hillslope, traditionally a church site, thought to have been domestic.

Site excavated 1973-85 (Schlesinger & Walls 1995 (Gower 46), 58-79; 1997 (Arch. J. 153), 104-147) producing evidence of an early medieval enclosure, timber structures & graves; a stone-built two-cell church, c.12m E-W by 6.0m; this last being replaced by a farmstead of c.1240-1350.
