DescriptionA mound, c.20m in diameter, noted in 1972 as carrying a single tree, is thought to be a spoil heap from 19th c. clearance/excavation of Abbey Cwmhir, possibly utilized as a garden feature (see Nprn265002/301606). A spiral path to the mound's summit could represent a barrow run, a picturesque path, or both.
