A pit, 8.0m by 5.0mand 1.0m deep, is thought to mark the site of a cairn. Excavation is recorded in 1854 and suggested for 1810. A monolith, inscribed in both latin and ogham (SJ05SE18), was removed in 1813 and is now in the NMW (Cardiff).
