The stub of a l.13th/e.14th c. octagonal cross-shaft, 0.8m high, set into a socket-stone, 1.0m square with spurred corners, upon what is thought to be a natural mound, c.26m in diameter.
Thought to have been a boundary marker, possibly relating to the Edwardian borough of Rhuddlan (Nprn15238).
