A subrectangular, moated platform, about 18.5m by 32m, with traces of stone and brick buildings said to have been in use in the early 19th century: the moat is about 63m by 34m overall, the northern arm forming a pond about 20m wide; a second pond lies beyond the earthen dam forming the west side of the moat.
