An enclosure in the form of a trapezium, 56m E-W by 50m wide at the W - 22m at the E, set at the end of an E-W ridge above the confluence of two streams. It is defined by a W-facing bank and ditch, elsewhere by scarps and terracing, thought to indicate that the ditch continued around the complete circuit. There is a causewayed approach at the SW corner.
