DescriptionNAR ST 18SE10
The footings of a medieval and later church demolished in 1903 have been consolidated and are laid out for public view in a small park. The church is first mentioned in the thirteenth century and it was a chapelry of Llandaf until 1845 when the parish was established.
The remains consist of a chancel, nave and south porch. The chancel had a south doorway and this may be the original chapel. The nave was added in the fifteenth-sixteenth century.
