Description
The banks of old field boundaries enclose a range of cultivation features, mostly narrow cultivation ridges. These occupy an area of north-east facing slopes roughly 230m square immediately below the modern ffridd wall. Centred on SH73203440 is an area of rather irregular, generally curvilinear boundary features, about 100m across.
An enclosed settlement of later Prehistoric type (NPRN 303057) lies at the head of the area, however, the cultivation features are better associated with the medieval or later type rectangular building & associated field walls to the east (NPRN 308960).
