Description
An inland promontory fort, discovered by Terry James from the air in 1984 and excavated by Dyfed Archaeological Trust in 2007. The fort is roughly oval, measuring c120m east-west by 75m north-south. The fort is plough-levelled, with vestigial earthworks only surviving to about 1m in height. Excavations revealed a gateway and enclosure ditches, but few finds and no evidence to suggest that the fort had been finished.
