A c.2.0km stretch of Offa's Dyke (Nprn306866), represented by intermittent scarps & other earthworks, in general thought to have pursued the line of the current road, running NW-SE, the N-S along the left bank of the Cegidog, before turning to run to the SE across relatively open ground.
Section opened in Ffrith village (at given NGR) demonstrated the post-Roman dating of the work (Fox 1955, 40-44).
