Cinema dated externally 1914. Public entrance from SE. in Vere Street. Constructed of brick walls with some steel and concrete with hipped roof. 3-storey, 3-bay front elevation of render over brick with giant pilasters and ball finials. The inner pilasters rise to a wide triangular plaque with "A.D./1914" in raised letters beneath a shaped gable with wide curved top that descends to outer pilasters. Each end bay has a wide semi-circular window opening. The NE. elevation to Harvey Street is of banded brickwork and has 3 apparently original cambered-headed doorways at ground floor; a series of large semi-circular openings, bricked, set higher in the wall. In 1958 the building was converted to a Bingo Hall and was later demolished. A block of flats was then built on site.
