Description
1. Healing well, crag near by called Clochly Gwenno. The well almost obliterated by mining.

2. Spring, or well, as above: a woman called Gwenno was imprisoned under the crag by spirits, for trespassing at the well, & still haunts the area; Gwyno was one of the Five Saints of Pumsaint (see Nprn303909): OS County series 2nd ed. (Carmarthen. XVII.1 1906) describes this feature as 'Ffynnon Gwenno (old level)'; the spring in its cavern or level is said to have been almost obliterated by modern mining activity in 1913.
