DescriptionA slighly sunken, horse-shoe shaped forecourt, defined by a c.0.5m thick wall, with a bench about the E part, 4.25m by 3.4m, frames the spring, within a corbelled circular recess on the W side.
The well is said to have been much resorted to in the 17th C.
