Description
Ruined windmill tower, formerly with six floors, standing to 60ft - 65ft and dating from around 1770-1800 (RCAHMW site files). It is shown on the Ordnance Survey 2in map of 1813 and is depicted and annotated as 'Old Windmill' on the OS 25in County series mapping of 1878. The remains are of a type of primitive, shorter, parallel-sided mill, similar to those across the channel in Somerset.
