Description
1. Charcoal burning site discovered in National Park during forestry management scheme (See MM Ind Gen file-list)

2. The Punchbowl was wood pasure in the medieval period, but charcoal burning evidence is probably post medieval. The woodland contains bech, ash, hazel, maple and oak.

A sub-circular levelled area in a steep hillside, approximately of 5m diameter. The downhill side appears to have been built up with boulders.
