A five-level dressing mill was built in 1899 on the closure of Wemyss Mine (nprn 33907) to process ore from Frongoch mine (nprn 302), with which it was connected by a tramway. Electric power was supplied from a power house (nprn 407230) 1km to the west. The mill was described in 1992 as a well preserved ruin.
