Description
The Acrefair blast furnace was built before 1823 by Edward Lloyd Rowland and bought by the British Iron Company in 1825 with production continuing until 1888. The blast furnace consisted of a stone circular tower with elliptical openings on the ground floor. It was demolished in 1963.
