Description
Stanley's bridge has a span of 4.27m; it was built to carry tramway over the Kidwelly and Llanelli Canal. Rope marks are visible on the sides of both bridges (See also NPRN 34736), also the towpath, hacked away to provide clearance for the railway. Since the closure of this section of railway in l985 it has reverted very much to its original status as a canal.
