Description
A locomotive shed dating from 1863 when steam locomotives were introduced on the Ffestiniog Railway (nprn 34660). Of local slatey rubble construction, with a corrugated iron roof, there is a joint in the middle which indicates erection in two phases. There are boarded doors to the twin square-headed entrances at the south end, with an iron lintel. A modern lean-to stands on the west side and attached to the north end is the former weigh house (nprn 34923).
