Apparent earthworks of agger extend NE from SJ04731206 to given NGR, where the feature turns to run ENE as far as SJ05051232.
Published source indicates that the road has been traced for a further 400m to the NE, to SJ053126 (Britannia 27 (1996), 391, fig 2), having first been noted in a manuscript of 1760, quoted in Jones, G.B.D. 1961 (BBCS 19.2, 177-192), 184.
