A c.4.38km stretch of Roman road, part of RR642 (Nprn305906) Caersws - Caer Gai (Nprn92468, 95436), represented by discontinuos earthworks/parchmarks.
N of Pant-y-milwyr (SJ04200444) the road continues its general NNW alignment (see Nprn400031 for section to S), which extends for c.2.5km to given NGR, where the road swings round to run generally NE for 1.75km until at SJ04440821 it turns to the N to negotiate the pass at Bwlch-y-Drum.
The road deviates from each alignment to negotiate the Nant Gelli-Geithin & Ceunant-yr-Hir-rhos valleys.
