A degraded sub-circular mound, about 7.2-7.6m across, set at the crest of south-west facing slopes. It is about 0.5m high on the south-west & 0.3m on the north-east.

The mound lies at the common focal point of the superimposed Roman marching camps on Y Pigwn (NPRN 92004), at least 120m from area of quarrying activity (NPRN 90450).
