DescriptionThe mill building still stands but with its third storey removed; it is stone rubble-built, with red brick dressings, under a replacement pitched roof. A weir and sluice on the River Monnow supplied water via a 450m-long leat or headrace; there is a 270m-long tailrace. The mill had two undershot wheels, one internal, one external, which were believed removed around 1920. Grosmont Mill House (nprn 35849) is adjacent.
